Mini-Rooter vs. Mini-Rooter Pro vs. Mini-Rooter XP: Parts Differences

The Mini-Rooter family looks alike, but General’s parts lists show they share only a few catalog numbers. Here is what differs, so you order parts for the machine you have.

What they share

Only four catalog numbers appear on all three lists: the MRCS cutter set, the MR-GT guide tube, the 10 ft. GFI-10 cord and the 50EM3 cable (1/2" x 50 ft.). The air foot switch diaphragm is also the same part (item 136080) under a different catalog number. Past that, frames, drums and motor parts are model-specific.

Motors and switches

The Mini-Rooter and Mini-Rooter Pro lists use the MR-300 motor. The XP uses its own XP-300 motor with an air foot switch and motor switch, and an XP-300-R version. The Pro list also has separate switch parts for motor number S48AC63A40P, so check the tag on your motor before ordering switch parts.

Does the Mini-Rooter Pro drum fit a Mini-Rooter XP?

Not according to General’s lists. The XP uses its own drum parts. Order drum parts from your machine’s own list in our parts finder.
