Troubleshooting in order
- Unplug the machine before you open anything.
- Check the hose for cracks, kinks or a loose end at the pedal or switch box. A leak means no signal.
- Squeeze the pedal and feel for air at the switch end. No air: the pedal bellows is the problem.
- If air arrives but the switch does not click, the diaphragm inside the switch is the usual suspect.
- Still nothing? The switch itself or the motor may be the fault. Call the counter with your model and serial.
Counter tip: If you are not comfortable working on electrical parts, have a qualified repair shop do it. Always test the GFCI on the cord before use.
