Pfister also makes a reversible quarter-turn cartridge (910-9000) that works on either side.
Which side is which?
Hot is on the left, and the two handles open in opposite directions. Pull one cartridge at a time so you do not mix them up, and replace both if the faucet is old. The second one is rarely far behind.

Can I use two hot-side cartridges?
Then both handles would turn the same way, which feels wrong and can confuse guests. Use the matched hot and cold pair, or a reversible cartridge like 910-9000 where it fits.
