These butcher block countertops are made in the USA by John Boos & Co. Black Walnut is a top-selling North American hardwood, renowned for its dark and rich colors that add warmth to rooms. Edge-grain butcher blocks are constructed using wood strips that run the full length of the butcher block, providing clean seam lines and an open feel. These particular counter tops are 1-1/2 inches thick, 25 inches wide, 60 inches long, and finished with Varnique - a varnish-like semi-gloss finish that requires little maintenance, but that should not be cut upon.
