This Hayward check valve is built from CPVC, which handles higher temperatures and resists corrosion better than standard PVC while weighing less than a metal valve. FPM O-ring seals make it suitable for use with petroleum oils, silicate fluids, and greases in addition to water. The true union design lets the valve be removed for service without cutting into the surrounding pipe.
